Dr. Richmond is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma, with clinical expertise in complex fracture and deformity surgeries. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed his fellowship in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan. Following residency, he completed his fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Previously, Dr. Richmond spent over 10 years as director of quality improvement for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at North Shore University Hospital and was a member of the peri-operative committee at the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the Association for Osteosynthesis and the Association for the Study for Internal Fixation.
