JoAnna Nicholson is a trusted attorney and influential senior leader whose expertise adds value to Spire Orthopedic Partners’ strategic legal operations. As Chief Legal Officer, Nicholson brings great insight into optimizing legal operations, providing regulatory counsel and negotiating business transactions to support steady and intentional growth in private equity backed organizations. In her previous role, Nicholson served as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) where she worked with leadership, private equity sponsors and company stakeholders on various legal matters, such as commercial transactions, healthcare regulations, employment, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and compliance. Nicholson received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and a J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
