New Facility Provides Access to Full Spectrum of Orthopedic Care
Huntington, NY, October 17, 2022 – Today, Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset opened its newest location in Huntington, NY. Located at 532 New York Avenue, this new facility offers full-service orthopedic care in Suffolk County.
Established in 1971, OAM has been serving Long Island residents with high-quality orthopedic care. This will be the second major location for OAM, which also provides care in Great Neck. This new freestanding facility in Huntington replaces an existing office in Commack.
Patients can seek care from orthopedic surgeons specialized in hand and upper extremity, spine, orthopedic trauma, foot and ankle, joint replacement and sports medicine.
“It is vitally important for people with orthopedic conditions to be treated by surgeons who have been fellowship-trained in sub-specialties, making them experts in their field,” explained Dr. Richard D’Agostino, sports medicine surgeon at OAM. “We have been treating Huntington residents for years at our other locations, so we are proud to be able to bring specialized care directly to their backyard.”
While expected to grow, the following physicians are practicing at OAM Huntington at the time of opening:
- Ashley Burlage, MD, hand and upper extremity surgeon
- Brian Capogna, MD, sports medicine surgeon
- Kevin Cassidy, MD, joint replacement surgeon
- Richard D’Agostino, MD, sports medicine surgeon
- Simon Greenbaum, MD, joint replacement surgeon
- Derek Ju, MD, spine surgeon
- Hamid Mostafavi, MD, orthopedic trauma surgeon
- Jeffrey Richmond, MD, orthopedic trauma surgeon
- Bruce Seideman, MD, joint replacement surgeon
- Wei Shen, MD, foot and ankle surgeon
“As a lifelong Huntington resident, I am thrilled to join OAM in this beautiful new location,” said Dr. Burlage, who is the newest physician in the practice. “It is very rewarding to be able to treat patients in the community where you live, especially when it is as vibrant as Huntington.”
The approximately 6,000 square-foot facility features new state-of-the-art equipment, on-site physical therapy, hand therapy and occupational therapy.
This new location is just minutes from the heart of downtown Huntington Village. Easily accessible from Route 25A, OAM is also one mile from the Huntington train station.
OAM Huntington will also provide care locally to Saint Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, led by Dr. D’Agostino who has been the Medical Director of their athletics department for the past four years.
